Your cartoon is amusing but also very true. There are hundreds if not thousands of wikipedia moderators who voluntarily take the time to edit and delete the incorrect and sometimes ridiculous "facts" that get published on there on a daily basis. I think they are swimming against the tide, much like the community moderation on Youtube.
